It was a quaint, beautiful, clean place to launch from for our activities in Yosemite. Close to town, could easily walk there. Loved staying here, glad we booked 2 nights. Staff very helpful.
I'll give Mariposa Lodge a thousand stars if I could! Their front desk was AMAZING and went above and beyond to help me with an issue created by my booking platform. Teresa and Unique were so helpful and knowledgable, and above all, so kind and empathetic of the situation. I couldn't have asked for anything better! The room is also very clean and spacious, very conveniently located. I'm definitely going to come back and I'd recommend it to anyone and everyone!
Everyone on the staff was so friendly! Rooms were very spacious and clean! The beds are comfy and 4 different pillows to pick between. The bathrooms are big with great water pressure. Great location to walk around town and not a far drive from Yosemite. Highly recommend! We would stay here again.
The location is great - there’s plenty of diners nearby and Yosemite is just an hour’s drive away - and the room is decently clean and quiet. But what stood out was the hospitality Teresa and her colleagues provided my partner and I. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, helpful and friendly. I would definitely stay here again when I’m back!

My husband & I had a very great experience staying at the Mariposa Lodge. Teresa who works the front desk was absolutely AMAZING, and she went above & beyond. Super nice, she even delivered a flower arrangement with a nice card for our anniversary & then brought us a birthday basket as well since were also celebrating our birthdays! The Lodge is very clean, the beds were comfy & the location was great! We were in walking distance of all restaurants & town, and we were an hour away from Yosemite. In ALL we had the greatest mini vacation, thank you Teresa & Mariposa Lodge for making this experience the best ever!!! We will definitely come back!!!
Beautiful and quaint lodge within walking distance to restaurants. Loved the outdoor pool to cool off & happy hour before walking to dinner and show at the Grove House. Comfy big bed, very clean and spacious room, and pretty landscaping to make us feel like we were on vacation. Teresa in reception went above and beyond the normal expectation of front desk reception. She turned our mini vacation into an exceptional and memorable experience with her friendliness and making sure we were having a wonderful time. Will be coming back here in the future and highly recommend to others! Thank you for a lovely stay.
This is an older motel, but very comfortable. Nice rooms, great location within walking distance to lots of restaurants, and clean. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the water could be hotter, but it's fine. You're just not going to soak your hiking aches & pains away in the shower. Lots of towels, plenty of storage space, and good parking.
